Hi, my name is Andrea,
I’m from Canada and I have been teaching English in France to children and adults for over 15 years. My favourite way of teaching is through a fun and creative communicative approach that helps bring the English language into our everyday lives. Learning should be a positive experience for all!
This is my first year at Gleeschool, but I’ve spent quite some time teaching/working with kids and come from a family of educators. I spent the past year working in the académie de Toulouse in the southwest of France teaching English in public schools. In university, I taught French to elementary students for an afterschool program and worked on an international student leadership program in Washington DC, which was run through the US Department of State. My teaching style is very interactive, as I like to incorporate songs, art, dance and theatre.
Private Classes: Available, rate is 30 euros/hours. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Hi, My name’s Lizette. I was born in Richmond Upon Thames in England. My family is from Gibraltar where I spent a lot of my childhood. I studied Art in Kingston and then went into Offshore Banking back in Gibraltar where I studied in the ICC. When I moved to France with my husband in 1996 I did a TEFL course and started teaching as an assistant in a College/Lycee Privé. We moved a lot, Rouen, Guyane then Provence where I started teaching the Cambridge Exams and was trained as a Cambridge YLE teacher in Axe en Provence. I finally decided to opened my own school and had 100% results. In 2019 we moved to New Caledonia for two year but I’m happy to be back in Paris and working here at Gleeschool. I love teaching and making it fun for kids is my goal!
Hi, I’m Pauline! I’m a French native speaker who works as a French as a foreign language teacher. I graduated from university Paris Descartes more than 2 years ago. I taught French and now I’m teaching English at Gleeschool.
I lived in New Zealand for a while where I worked for a bilingual school. Before my master’s degree in French as a foreign language (Master Didactique des Langues), I studied translation and interpretation for 4 years at ISIT.
I have been teaching for more than 2 years. I love teaching, it’s a real vocation. I like a relaxed atmosphere in my classroom and I also tend to think that a positive teaching is the key to successful students! Children in my class will learn while having fun.
I also give private lessons. For a tailored lesson, it’s 40€ an hour.
Hi ! My name is Mary, I am French but have loved English ever since I was little. What drew me the most to english was art : I love music, writing, cinema, and I’ve always found it easier to create in english. I’ve become interested in teaching through my years in high school where I questioned the way we were taught everything. I quickly discovered that the best way to learn was to create a safe and fun atmosphere for the students, which I’m so glad I have the opportunity to do here at Gleeschool.
My name is Sandra Ohlsson and I am Swedish. I have been teaching for 2 years and my general teaching style is that I try to include as many verbal games as possible in order to get my students used to speaking English in a fun and easy way.
I will unfortunately not be available for private lessons this year.
Hi! My name is Viola and I was born and raised in Germany.
I have been living in France for 30 years and I have been teaching German and English for the last 10 years. This is my first year with Gleeschool. Interactive teaching, singing and playing games is a good way for the kids to learn a language. It should be fun!
